Location was great, cosy cottage as advertised.

The location is brilliant, just a couple of minutes from the town, comfy beds and nice bedding. We couldn’t get in for a while as the digital lock didn’t work so had to call and managed to get the key, the owner offered a bottle of prosecco which they offered to refund, took a couple of reminders which was a bit awkward, but was a nice touch. It’s a lovely small comfortable cottage in a good location. Very good communication and instructions on finding the property.

There is a leak and the floor was wet in the morning downstairs after showering, the ceiling didn’t look good so didn’t look new. There was no hand soap in the property anywhere so I got some and added it to the processo bill, it was only £1.10! Small touches were missed like not enough toilet roll, no kitchen roll/sponge/dishwasher tablets/foil or clean washing up cloths (smelled damp and musty). It looked like noone had been in the house for a while but I could be wrong! I think it generally needs some TLC, small touches make a big difference. The landlords have a website that tells you everything which is useful, however I was surprised to see they tell you to dispose of your rubbish around St Ives when all the bins say ‘no holiday let rubbish’. We hadn’t noticed this until the end of our stay and were stuck with 2 bags of rubbish a local resident kindly took for us! He said the owners should not be telling people to do this and should be paying for bin collections. The neighbours and other holiday cottages had bins outside, I thought this was pretty bad to be honest.

We stayed at New year and location was fantastic for the celebrations. Even being that close we were not disturbed at night with passer by’s or cars. Host was great and helped with our questions promptly. Cottage had everything we needed!

Great location in the middle of town and also near the beaches. Five minute walk to the main ones with some lovely little shops on the way. Loved the app with all the details on it of both the house and the town-very helpful. Perfect stay for us with our timid dog.

Lack of bin disposal. Been there for a week meant taking the rubbish and having to find a public bin to use-not easy as they are seagull proof and have little slits. Not easy for household waste.

Tolle Lage mitten im Zentrum in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Sehr liebevoll mit Blick fürs Detail eingerichtet. Die Küche bietet alles was man benötigt, auch hier alles in perfektem Zustand.

Das Haus ist sehr klein, aber so sind diese alten Häuschen halt. Das Haus hat sehr viel Charme!

It was convenient

Lack of security. About 9pm I had to jump up from the sofa and stop 5 people walking in, they had the number to access the house and opened the door. They were given the wrong booking not their fault, should of been round the corner at another property of the owners, who then offered a round drinks as a sorry if I could forward a receipt. Felt unsafe, had children upstairs in bed, so slept downstairs and left early.

Location is great, perfect to pop in and out of town. Pillows and bed were were great compared to other local cottages. Hot water and water pressure was fantastic!

A fan in the bedrooms would have been appreciated

A lovely cosy cottage in the town center. Well equipped and comfortable king size bed. Free on road parking is about 5 minutes walk away. Nice touches from the owners for our Christmas stay.
