Brand New Downtown Modern 5 Beds, 3 Full Baths Vermont Avenue, Boise

The location was great! :)

We had a very disappointing stay at this property. Which was supposed to be a birthday celebration vacation, we spent a lot of money on this place for us to leave feeling the way we did. First, there are cameras facing inside the home. One is positioned at the front door where there are no curtains, and another points toward the living room windows. At night, a bright blue light is visible while sitting on the couch, which was very unsettling. The master bathroom also has no curtains, and the large uncovered window looks directly into the shower area. Unfortunately, another guest even saw my minor child exposed due to this complete lack of privacy. Arriving late at night to wide open windows made the home feel unsafe and uncomfortable. On top of that, the house is filled with excessive “no smoking” signs and rule lists, yet basic cleanliness and attention to detail were neglected. It wasn’t filthy, but it was far from well-kept. The listing describes this as a “new home,” but aside from a new kitchen island, it’s definitely not new. The amenities listed were also misleading. There is no spa/fitness center, no horseback riding, no park, no childcare services, and no 24-hour front desk (there isn’t even a front desk at all). When we lost power in the upstairs master bedroom and bathroom, we were told to check the breaker box but all access was locked. The issue was never resolved. The owners response was "we will have someone look at it." Lastly, the photos do not accurately reflect the actual unit. Overall, the listing felt misleading and the stay left us all feeling uncomfortable, unsafe, and deceived. If you like to feel like someone is always watching you and you're going to get a $1500 fine for farting sideways, this is the place for you!!

I liked having separate sleeping areas with separate bathrooms for each of us. It was a cute home. I liked having more space than a traditional hotel room. All 5 of us fit comfortably.

The 12-page contract was sketchy with tons of rules and regulations. They made me send a copy of my credit card and driver's license as well.The street is very narrow, and the neighborhood is tight. There are no blinds on 2 of the windows in the master bedroom hallway, so light comes in at night and in the morning. This was disappointing. The long stairwell might make it difficult for older customers to get up to the bedrooms.

The beds were comfortable, and location was what we needed.

The place was gross. Super dirty, I'm talking boogers on the walls, mold in the shower, dust bunnies and unidentified other substances all over, and so much more (took pics of it all). I've never complained about the condition of a rental I have ever stayed in, but I was so disappointed in this one that I had to. Whoever is in charge of communication for them is terrible. Rude, short, and unhelpful. They took almost 24 hours to respond to each of my messages, and then we're super dismissive. Then had the audacity to reach out to ask if we had a pet on the property after ignoring the other messages. There was a dog that never went inside the house, only stayed outdoors while someone used the restroom briefly. I assume they saw that on camera and chose to reach out in an effort to be petty or tit for tat to avoid having to address the actual problem on day 3 of 4. Super disappointing. Not to mention the place is not like the pictures (different furniture), cheaply thrown together, tacky notes posted all over.....just unprofessional and a let down all together.

Loved the character of the home. Enjoyed the big soaking bath tub with the separate shower. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom.

The door automatically locks every time it is shut. My phone died and I got locked out and couldn’t remember the combo, I had to walk to the store to charge the phone to access my email to gain the code.

Was worried about parking, but it has VIP parking, in driveway. Clean, close to everything, would recommend this place.

Couldn't get the living room tv to work or get a connection.

Quite neighborhood,easy access to downtown Boise.

Was not as clean as it should have been. One of the bathrooms showers was clogged.
