Banyan House - luxurious 4 bedroom villa on one acre, near the beach

Beautiful house, with lush green surroundings. The rooms were spacious and clean. The caretaker and the meals prepared were yummy and authentic.

Nothing, but one thing that I can think of is the quality badminton rackets and shuttlecock.. that the house has awesome outdoors to play badminton. We had to buy our own set to play.

The distance from the jetty is minimum an hour

The quiet , tucked in property . With a good staff to compliment it . The rustic look and feel was amazing . Two days of blitz .

The electricity went off at night- and the back up did not take over , leaving us with a disturbed sleep first night . There were couple of friendly dogs , but they were all the time jumping and hanging around .

Rohit and his team of caretaker, cook and gardener are a refreshingly warm and friendly set of hosts, the kind that's hard to find these days. The property is really nice, with a beautiful blend of traditional architecture and simple, modern amenities without going overboard. Rohit gave good directions to enable us have a smooth checkin and comfortable stay.

If we could change the condition of the private beach access that is mostly slushy this time of the year, we would. This was the only let down in an otherwise wonderful stay.
