Chic, Modernized Maisonette - Close to Tigne Point, & Saint Julian's

We had in the end very mixed feelings about the apartment. The interior design was great, amazing kitchen with all utensils as well as oil, salt, pepper, vinegar, herbs etc. - great experience if you like to cook sth here and there. The location was great for us, super central, easy to walk around and perfectly connected with public transport. The big bathroom was great, good water pressure, big mirror, equipped with hair dryer. Plenty of towels and pillows, which was great. .

But, since it is a ground floor apartment it was unfortunately way too dark for us - our fault, because we didn’t check it properly as we booked the place. Be aware, in case you’re an allergy sufferer you shouldn’t book this place, there was some mould in the small bedroom and I had to move to the big room. We were a bit unfortunate that the neighbours above us were super noisy - which is of course not the hosts fault! - but waking up a few times during the week in the middle of the night is really annoying and there’s also a construction site directly opposite of the apartment (04/2025)- so be aware that there will be noise Monday till Saturday from 08:00 am on. What bothered me as well were the glass doors, as soon as the other person is turning on the light in the kitchen/living room area, or uses the toilet in the night, you’re awake. Closed doors (no glass doors) would give a bit more privacy. So if you’re not very noise-sensitive and you don’t mind it that you’ve no sunlight in the apartment it’s a great place to stay. Checkout is at 10:00 am - I travel a lot and usually checkout is at 11:00. And the cleaning stuff was already knocking on the door 10 minutes prior checkout time

Fantastic location

Beautiful and large apartment. Ten minutes to bus stops, the ferry to Valledo and fo several restaurants.

There is a lot of noise from the street and from the surrounding apartments.

The apartment is truly amazing, just like in photos, if not even better 😊. The place has been renovated with a modern, tasteful design. It's spotless and equipped with plenty of amenities, including 2 bathrooms, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a large fridge with a freezer, and many other useful accessories. The host, Jaime, was friendly and quick to respond to all our requests. We were even allowed a late check-out in the afternoon, which was great since we had an evening flight and large luggage. The location in Sliema is also fantastic, just a short walk from the seaside boulevard and with easy access to the ferry that takes you to Valletta in only 5 minutes! The area is surrounded by restaurants, pubs, shops, and other points of interest. Everything exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this accommodation!
