Nothing at all!

The boiler didn't work! So, there is no hot water or heating. Holes in walls around sockets, food on walls, dirty toilet. Mould around bath, food encrusted on ironing board, worn out smelly sofas, dirty beds, 2 lights didn't work, rude property owner who will NOT help you..they will smugly say its not their problem. It is absolutely shocking that the agent has not had health and safety inspection here! We ended up staying in a hotel. The area is dirty and full of litter. Please do not bring your kids here.

The beds were really comfy

They were in the middle of building a large extension to the rear of the property, the host informed us of this via text message about 1 hour prior to checking in, there's was mud and debris everywhere which we consequently brought into the house, he also had an extension lead hanging out of the window for the builders so people could have got into the house ,the water pressure was really bad so my colleague couldn't run a bath and the towels provided were like hand towels,you couldn't get any television on except netflixs, the fridge had what I can only describe as an iceberg in it and no shelves to put food on and lastly it was the most expensive house we've stayed in

The hob was a bit hard to use

Convenient location for last minute booking near airport. Large TV Host responded to messages promptly to explain property was not available at check in time of 15.00h as it had not been cleaned, and would be available at 17.30h

The bed linen was NOT clean - the double bed linen smells of a man. I would recommend using mattress protectors and fresh linen for every guest. I found it particularly unpleasant to sleep in someone else’s bedding as there was a smell of body odour, aftershave and human hair etc on the bedding. The property needs a thorough clean as everything is covered in builders’ dust. We washed up everything before and after we used it in the kitchen. The rubbish bag under the single bed in the double room should be taken away. If the property allows direct non-refundable booking from 15.00h it needs to be clean and ready to receive guests as we feared it was a scam booking option. I would recommend getting induction hob pans, chopping board, kitchen knife and peeler for veg. You should not charge people £100 to stay in a flat that is not clean, particularly after the pandemic.
