All was good

Great location: a few minutes walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The apartment has everything you need and more. There is all the necessary appliances (except, perhaps, a dishwasher), even a toaster and a vacuum cleaner. All kinds of dishes, glasses, frying pans, etc. For going to the beach, there is a beach umbrella and folding beach chairs.

Poor soundproofing of the walls and windows. The bedroom windows face the street, and the neighbors' air conditioning unit is located directly behind the wall above the bed. Most of the time, the bedroom is quiet at night, but occasionally a noisy group of people may pass by or the neighbors may turn on their air conditioning. During these moments, it becomes impossible to sleep because the noise is as if you were standing right next to the source. During my week-long stay, this happened twice at night.

Great location, clean apartment. Great host.

* Location: It's near the sea, which is great. * Bathroom & Kitchen: They look nice and new. * WiFi & TV: Both worked well. Not recommended. I’m pretty sure there are better places to stay in Torrevieja for these money

* Smell: The apartment smells strongly of cigarettes. Even with the windows open, the smell doesn't go away. If you don't like cigarette smoke, you should not stay here. * Storage: The bedroom is small, and there's nowhere to put your clothes. The closet in the bedroom is full of cleaning supplies, so you can't use it. I had to put my clothes on the sofa. * Furniture: The sofa and bed covers are very old and look cheap. * Noise: You can hear everything in the hallway and on the street. The windows are old and don't block noise. * Light: The apartment is very dark. The photos online make it look brighter than it is. It's on the first floor, so it doesn't get much light. * Lights: The lamps by the bed don't work. Either the bulbs need replacing, or there's another problem. * Air Conditioning: The air conditioner barely works. It didn't heat the room well, and I don't think it would cool the room well in the summer. Main Reason Not to Recommend: The cigarette smell is very bad. It's the biggest problem with this apartment.

This is a nice apartment in a convenient location in Torrevieja.

Almost everything was great. The apartment is clean, has a really well equipped kitchen, a nice reception/dining area and a balcony which, despite the apartment being on the ground floor, felt quite private and also always had a cooler temperature than outside in the street, which was a great bonus in July (mind that if you switch on the air conditioner in the apartment, the balcony does heat up quite a bit!). And in general, because of the ground floor, the temperatures in the apartment were not rising too high even during daytime. The walk-in shower is quite spacious. The bed in the bedroom is quite comfy. The location is also good, close to a couple of supermarkets and the bus station, there's also a 24h corner shop in the same street. Overall this area around Playa Del Cura is quite touristy, but the street this apartment is in did not feel noisy or particularly crowded. Both the host and the local property manager were very nice and helpful.

There were a few minor things that could possibly be improved. The wardrobe in the bedroom looked a bit tired and did not provide much space for storage. The bedroom itself is of a somewhat strange shape, so despite having some space in theory, felt a bit claustrophobic at times. And we were warned that the balcony door can get locked if you fully close it when on the balcony, so you can get trapped there - and remembering all the time to leave a small gap and not to close it entirely added some unnecessary stress. But these were all small things and overall did not impact the experience much.

Kitchen equipped with all utensils you could possibly need, comfortable bed and nicely decorated apartment. Location is great, close to beach and supermarkets. Everything is within walkable distance.

It’s a ground floor apartment with not much natural light coming in. We stayed at the end of March so temps were a little cooler and therefore apartment as well, which is more of a plus during the hot summer. Boiler could be a little bigger, we had to space out our showers to ensure there’s enough warm water available. If you’re used to constant hot water this is a slight adjustment.
