Modern, clean and tidy

Lovely decor and kitchen was well equipped. The apartment was super cute. Hosts were easy to contact, beds were comfy and it was nice and quiet and they had made up the sofa bed for our daughter. The hosts had kindly left us cookies which was a lovely touch and the coffee machine was perfect for our very early start the next day. Parking wasn’t far from the property and was free. Seemed very reasonably priced for the location and the level of decor and furnishings.

Like some other people we found the property a bit difficult to find at first, despite directions from the host. We were arriving as it was getting dark so it wasn’t as easy to work out where we needed to go but called the hosts and they answered straight away and explained directions over the phone.

Double bed was comfy and large with fluffy duvet. Pretty bedroom. Nice shower. Kitchen had basics. View of hills. Parking better than advertised (lots of nearby on-street free parking available).

Took us 30 mins to get in, not knowing whether we’d be able to. Details of location and entry code were photographs, which don’t get through booking.com’s email system, so we didn’t know which property it was or what the keycode was. We found out where it was because the neighbour in the house we originally tried to get into told us. Still didn’t have the keycode though so we had to contact the host. Just put a sign with the house number on the property, and send the keycode as text not a photo! Sofa bed not so comfy. Pillows much too thick. More traffic noise than you’d expect in the morning. Bathroom extractor fan noisy in bedroom. Toilet positioned so you can’t sit straight.

Lovely apartment, great facilities and furnishings. Comfortable and clean for our stay. Lovely finishing touches with the tea/coffee, cookies, fruit.
