A well-equipped studio apartment. Comfortable and easy to spend time in, very handy central location for both the beachfront and Southwold shops. Owner is very responsive and helpful, providing clear directions and help with queries. Southwold is a lovely little town and the beach is perfect - would heartily recommend a trip here. Did the job nicely for my short stay - would happily stay here again!

The property is on the ground floor and is a former shop (I assume), so the window into the living area is huge. There was also a For Sale sign on the apartment next door. These two things combined meant that I got a lot of curious tourists peering in during my stay! I wouldn't let that put me off staying at all - the apartment is really good value for money and as I say, very well kitted out. And it's only really an issue during the day, when most people will be out exploring anyway! But I can see how it might feel a bit uncomfortable if e.g. you were a solo female traveller, or planning to spend a lot of time indoors.

Convenient for the town and beach. Well equipped.Best use of difficult available space.

There was a bulb missing from one of the bed lights. It was very difficult to reach the plug behind the mirror for a hairdryer.

Loved how close it was to the sea and high street Loved the layout Loved the furnishings

Both my daughter and I found it too light - the roller blind and shutters still let in a lot of light The apartment was also very noisy from people passing by and from the seagulls - no double glassing but I read from previous comments the window wasn’t allowed to be changed

Excellent location, immaculate apartment, exceptionally clean with everything you could possibly need, and finished to a high specification. Southwold was fabulous, such friendly and helpful people. Will certainly like to return.

The lock to the front door was a bit temperamental and at one time my friend was locked inside with the keys and I was outside on the pavement for 20 minutes , as she couldn't unlock the door !
