The apartment is close to the train station and to the pedestrian area in the Murat neighbourhood. It is also just a 10-15 stroll away from the old town. The apartment is renovated and what facilities we used seemed to work more often than not, although nothing too impressive - i.e. the shower door closed completely only in a certain way, the Wi-Fi struggled a lot, etc. The apartment was also clean, which is significant judging from what I read in previous comments. These are about the only good things I can say about it.

On the other hand, the hospitality provided was atrocious. Upon arrival - about 15:30 - there was no soap or shower gel in the apartment. We notified this and were informed it would be taken care of "asap". We left to explore the town and got no response to our WhatsApp questions if the shower gel & soap had been delivered, so around 21:00 we started searching for an open store to buy necessities. As you usually do on a Saturday night. When we got home we saw that soap & shower gel had been brought, but not as advertized (see photo) - i.e. 2x20ml shower gel and no shampoo. No complimentary/welcome package was present as we had received everywhere else we had stayed in Bari (despite the misleading photo with the full living room table in the apartment's description) and when asking if they had left at least a bottle of water we were told that tap water is drinkable. In fact, for the previously mentioned trouble with the soap/shower gel we got no compensation. Not a bag of taralli, not even the courtesy to allow us an 1 hour late checkout when we left. The amenities provided were poor or missing - no bag for the trash bin in the kitchen, no capsules for the Nespresso machine in the kitchen and not enough toilet paper - 2 rolls of the cheapest kind for 2 people for 3 nights. This is actually the first accommodation I've ever stayed at where I had to go out and buy toilet paper! I'd be mortified to put my guests through such an experience, but I don't think the administrators here care. Oh, another first was the fact that upon departure we were asked to take out our own trash. And not to some place near the building, but about 200m down the street. It was so relaxing to stroll around with our transparent trash bag and luggage in search of the dumpsters. Our towels weren't changed during our stay, but we didn't have a problem with that.

Close to station and city centre

Not enough toilet paper for two of for 5 days. No tea towels to dry dishes , no coffee for the coffee maker, only green and black tea, bed in room with not comfortable could feel the springs. Noisy location
