The Retreat-luxury cottage with hot tub (sleeps 4)

Lovely cottage with a very cosy living area. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. The location was excellent, with pubs and a Greek takeaway within walking distance and driving distance to the Wolds and Lincoln's historic centre. The hot tub was an added bonus.

Absolutely everything! The cottage is SO well equipped with everything you’ll need. Instructions and contact with the host is excellent. The village is brilliant for dog walks and the people there are so friendly! Cottage is beautiful - will definitely be back.

We loved everything, the only thing we’d slightly pick at is the flooring from the stairs through to the upstairs is a bit uncomfortable on the feet - though slippers are provided!

Beautiful accommodation with luxurious bathroom and well fitted out kitchen. Perfect location for us visiting the pretty village of Nettleham

The Retreat is fabulous! We were a group of 4 adults with 2 on day beds in the lounge. The property is superbly decorated and fully equipped with all you need for a few days away. We stayed 3 nights and put the kitchen to use for a full english breakfast each morning. There are useful instructions in the kitchen for a quick 'goto' on how everything worked. We were met by a cracking welcome hamper of snacks and a bucks fizz, lovely touch and most appreciated. The robot hoover was very handy for picking up the crumbs after demolishing the snacks. The hot tub was great and really easy to use and sort out if the temp drops by following the troubleshooting guide provided by the hosts. The hosts were exactly as you'd like them, welcoming, available if you need them but with no intrusion. Parking space was very handy as we had a car and 4 vintage scooters. Ideal for anyone touring the area by motorbike as the parking was very private. The village itself was lovely and we highly recommend the Plough, just a five minute walk from The Retreat. There's a Co op, a few takeaways including a kebab/pizza shop & chinese takeaway.

Nothing it was all fabulous... but - as someone else has mentioned, pack your slippers as the carpets are certainly hard going on the feet (but there are a couple of pairs of indoor guest footwear available if you forget ;)

Everything, communication was spot on and stay was a perfect stay to celebrate wedding anniversary

Only thing I would say was the carpet coordinated with the entire cottage but was uncomfortable and killed your feet without socks on
