Ceiling fan in living room didn’t work properly. Shower wasn’t clean, A/c don’t work properly.

It is a very nice neighborhood, safe and calm. Friendly neighbors were a plus one.

The bathtub, I prefer showers.

Location was excellent. Hosts were very responsive and answered questions promptly. Kitchen is well-stocked to be able to cook in terms of dishes and pans, cooking accessories. It does not have oils or spices aside from two salt shakers (no pepper). Could be an economical place for 4 people to stay and cook meals there, if some improvements could be made with furnishings. The apartment was clean. Neighbors mostly quiet. The garage is a great touch! However it is so small; unless you have a small vehicle or are very comfortable knowing your car dimensions within inches, you may struggle to park there. In a rental car (regular sized sedan) I was too worried I'd accidentally scrape or damage the car so did not use the garage after trying to park there the first night. Couch is fantastic -- super comfortable and my favorite feature of the apartment. Carpet seems clean/looks new. Not essential but would be nice to have: 1. A filtered water pitcher for fridge. 2. Lotion in the bathroom.

Hosts attempted to provide a receipt that my company would accept for travel reimbursement- after multiple attempts and failed communications (they did try). Ultimately, they were not able to provide the receipt that I needed; for most travelers, this would not be an issue. However, for me it resulted in personally having to pay the cleaning fee on a business trip, which was a bummer. Suggestions for hosts: 1. Buy a key ring for the apartment key. Key on a tatered paper temporary ring, falling apart... yuck. Keep porch light on for easy access to lock box at night if arriving late. 2. Regular sized coffee maker in the kitchen with a coffee station that has basics for making coffee or tea included in rental. 4 cup coffee maker okay for one person but not for more than that. Coffee was available on my visit, 5 mini creamers were provided. No sugar available. 3. Upgrade the beds. A mattress on a metal cot type frame is a very bare. Replace bedspreads as they appeared to have spots or stains. Get more comfortable pillows and use pillow liners on the pillows. 4. Put a dresser in both bedrooms. The room I picked, with the least stains on the bedspread, had no place to put a suitcase, or to put clothing aside from on the floor. 5. Fix the curtain/shade in the living room, several panels missing. 6. Add a coffee table and or side table, add other seating in living room - for example sitting on couch, there is no place to set a drink or snack except on the floor. There is seeting for 2 people in the living room. A couple additional chairs would make it more comfortable. This was not a bad place to stay, the hosts seem kind, and it was clean, but it is very sparse and basic. Though refurbished, it is an old apartment which is evident in the shower particularly, but, it might be just what you are looking for for that price range!

Not a thing, as far as location, and the lack of what we were led to believe. I did like the host. The host was very understanding and tried to explain things, but that was contrary to the pictures on their site. They did want us out asap, and we complied.

The location was an apartment not a home. The location was on the second floor. The stair railing had broken paint and thus rust. There was no washer and dryer as the add led you to believe. The private pool is private in that it is only available to apartment renters. The garage can only fit compact vehicles. I had a suburban, so it wouldn’t have been possible to close. There was not a walk-in shower as the pictures led you to believe. There were ants in the master bedroom.
