Chateau de Woodlawn - Room III - The Dream Catcher

Personal very nice, super clean and well equipped to cook, it's nice to enjoy the leaving room also

Can be noisy a bit because of the neighbours but it's a nice spot and alive not just for tourists so we liked it

Tracy and her husband will make sure you feel good and like at home at their place. They are accommodating and caring. The place is comfortable, beautiful, well decorated, full of soul. The building is an old one with plenty of charm. It's well located, near a subway station, and pretty close to Chicago downtown (20 minutes driving, 40 minutes subway).

The neighbors are very loud at night, unfortunately but that's probably because my room was the most exposed. The two other rooms are differently oriented and don't receive the noise that much. If you're not sensitive at noise, you will have the perfect stay, for sure. Also, some ears plugs helped a lot against the noise!

The host was very responsive. There is ample space. Common spaces were inviting. There was a minor cleanliness issue, which the host quickly resolved. If I visit the same area again, I will try to stay at the same place, if available.

The host was lovely and attentive. She responded quickly when I had questions and made me feel welcome when I arrived. She was also very kind and quick enough to message me when she found that I accidentally left a pair of shoes behind, and I was able to come back to get them before I left town. The space was simple and clean, and my room had its own lock, so I felt more secure as a solo female traveler. She also provided towels and little snacks in the kitchen. The location was also pretty great, and was within about a 12-15 minute drive from most places I wanted to go if the traffic was good.

The neighbors were a bit loud at night, but it didn't bother me too bad. I would still definitely stay here again, and I recommend it.
