Place was clean Communication with host was excellent They kept in touch during the stay to ensure we was comfortable

I spoke to Joe whose apartment it was regarding the booking, unfortunately my mother in law passed away, and I wanted a small break for my husband and children, Sunday my brother in law got admitted in hospital, he was in a induced coma, I explained to Joe please can we reschedule - unfortunately that did not happen, I lost my whole money, which was £250 plus? I have a husband who is blind, and wanted this break more for him, as he struggling with his mothers death, I’m more than happy to send you evidence of everything, hospital visits, my two children who are 6&8 was so excited, but the lack of understanding was beyond me, I’m so deeply upset regarding the situation.

Loss of money despite explaining the situation to Joe and booking.com, so upset lost all my money, in life we can’t plan death or some one getting ill, its unfortunate.

Had all the necessary amenities required for a family.

We had a little problem with the smoke alarms, but once this problem was resolved the rest was incredible.

The living room was lovely and the twin room was nice. The view was pretty and it was walking distance to the beach.

The double bedroom was very small and the bed was uncomfortable. You could only get in it from one side so if two people are sleeping in it it’s not practical as one of you has no nightstand and has to climb out the end or over the other person. The bathroom needs modernising as well and there were no coffee making facilities. Also it is ground floor and the noise from above was quite loud especially at night.

Noise from suspended ceilings and upstairs flat when walking around , was kept awake until 12.20 and then woken again at 6.40am

No blind in the kitchen so no privacy as on ground floor. and no blackout curtains . Fridge leg broken, so wobbled when door opened. Shower not working and tap attachment too low. Should specify on booking this is ground floor as I would not have chosen it. Double duvet heavy and cumbersome. Very poor lighting throughout and no table lamp in the lounge.
