Penley's Mews - City Centre + free private parking

The apartment was clean and had virtually everything needed it had cable channels which was nice to have as was awake a lot during the night milk,bread,jam pots ,cookies and butter portions were left for breakfast messages were responded to pretty quickly which was very good .

I didn't like the bed or pillows I had pain as the bed was very firm the pillows are memory foam I think and very hard in fact my neck hurt I had a restless time in the bed despite being alone so very tired I would have tried the sofa bed or changed the pillows as a note said bedding was in the bed for sofa bed there was other pillows and a duvet but no covers although stated were in cupboard which I couldn't open it seemed locked? The butter was out of date by about 5 weeks and no toiletries were there but stated they was I only found handwash on the bathroom sink also I couldn't reach the toaster as put up on a high shelf for some reason ? I feel the kitchen appliances need rearranging.Not owners fault but next door 25 pretty noisy loud music evening and morning went out at some stage in the evening as I was out myself I came back and it was quiet then they came in about 1.45am very noisy and then another problem was someone running across the floor in the apartment above the bed a child probably as continuing for hours from 7.15am not really relaxing for me and has put me off staying again as they probably live there permanently.Maybe I was just unlucky or other bookers wouldn't be bothered I don't know.I wasn't aware about the stairs which were difficult for me as have damaged tendons I did struggle to be honest .A spare blanket would have been good I was quite cold during the night the heaters seemed preset at 19° I think and didn't know how to turn them up and didn't want to mess with the menu etc.

Apartment is beautiful, has everything you need and very modern and clean. Bed was comfortable and little welcome basket was a lovely touch. Location is perfect for people who are happy for a short walk and there is a lovely street with shops on the way into city centre. Appreciated the coffee machine and milk and couldn’t be happier, will definitely recommend to others.

Great welcome instructions, breakfast hamper and location. Lovely apartment and would recommend. Not keen on the the memory foam pillows so would take my own next time but that’s personal preference! Great to be able to park and then wander into the centre. Nice and modern and good facilities. Exceeded expectations and would definitely return. Great value for money
