Location and good that it had parking

Registration process excessive, I had to give digital photos of my ID, both sides, as well as a selfie- I had to pay on booking and could not cancel without charges, but did not want to give all the unnecessary private information. I could not proceed with registration unless I gave all my personal information including why I was visiting- I think digital copies of someone’s ID is completely unnecessary and dodgy ground with GDPR. When I complained about it they insisted upon it. If they want to cut all personal contact with guests then this is at their risk and they should not be asking their guests to compromise their data privacy. Last year I stayed in an identical property in the same building and did not have to give all this information. The flat was a long way up on the 7th floor and right at the end of the corridor which was a pain. The carpets were badly stained where drinks had been spilled and left to dry. The bathroom smelt like someone had been smoking in it and there was toothpaste splashed over the wall near the sink. The beds and bedding were very poor quality and not comfortable we had the worst nights sleep in a very long time. Otherwise the kitchen was clean. The instructions were good.

The property was really hot and the balcony was disgusting and not usable due to pigeon poo on it. They provided pots and pans which didn’t work on an induction hob and parking was a nightmare. We had to get takeaway one night as it was impossible to cook with the kitchen utensils and pans that we had. We were refunded £20 for the late check out we had paid for, but to be honest we were really disappointed.

Dirty balcony, poor kitchen utensils and pans, rubbish parking and poor customer service.
