Modern 2 bed flat w parking, dog friendly, central

It was clean and comfortable. Handy location for our purposes and pretty quiet.

It was a little pricey for such an extended stay. We had very hot weather and it was difficult to cool it down even in the evening, so fans would have been helpful.

Cleanliness

Location, broken window in main bedroom, noise outside in the main road, noise from below neighbour.

Flat was lovely and clean. All accessories that was needed. Beds and bedding extremely comfortable. Hot water for showers 🚿 was good. Easy off street parking and ideal location for where we needed to be to visit family.

We asked for earlier check in as arrived at 2pm and check in was 4pm. Advised this may be possible but at an extra charge of £30!! Never come across this before as if room is ready then can see no need to pay to check in early. Also if we checked out late after 10am we would be charged £50!! Although we obviously did neither of these it has pit us off staying here again. Shame.

Lovely flat and well furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Just a few things when we arrived but I took photos to show the owner. My main concern was one of the front bay windows didn’t actually close at all so it was freezing when sat on the sofa. The en-suite side window didn’t close either. This of course it left us unable to leave any valuables in the flat (even though it’s a first floor it is a quiet neighbourhood). Not a major issue for us as we were only there for a couple of days. Plenty of off street parking and brilliant position for walking into the town centre (30min walk). Overall a nice place to stay.

Charminster is a very convenient area- easy access to Tesco and restaurants take away places. Accommodation is fine, just what you need, plenty of space for a family of 4.

Just a small thing- having to send 100quid deposit before staying. Maybe this is getting common these days but it was first time for me to be requested this and wasn't comfortable with it tbh.

We liked the quietness of the area. The apartment had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, car parking and amenities were good, only a few minutes from local shops The information pack was great with local tips, etc,

As per one of the reviews, the en suite shower temperature could not be altered, and this was mentioned on a previous review. I would have thought this would have been fixed We were informed by the host that the last occupants had damaged the carpets,door, and freezer. However, we were told that they would be replaced after we left However, we did think the carpets needed a clean and there was a strong smell of dogs when we first arrived, we did know dogs were allowed but didn't expect it to be a' very doggy smell' Overall it is a pleasant place to stay

Comfy beds and sofas, parking on the drive and a nice en-suite as well as bathroom. Washing machine and dryer and very large TV - all great.

No access to outside space and the apartment had a very small kitchen.

The flat was perfect for us. There was 4 of us and it felt spacious, clean and homely. We used the kitchen to cook a few times - there is lots of cookware, plates, cutlery, etc - everything you need! Plenty of extra linen provided in the bedrooms, and even toiletries in both bathrooms. We used both TVs (one in the lounge and in the bedroom) which worked great. The beds were super comfy and we all slept well during the few nights we there. Very informative flat booklet which gives you all necessary check in/out intonation and even restaurant and activity recommendations. It felt like a home away from home and we definitely be using it again in the future!

A small nitpick, but the en-suite bathroom’s shower temperature dial wasn't working - it was set quite hot and we couldn’t turn it down. We managed though and it wasn’t a huge problem.
