Large Capitol Hill Studio - Free Parking, Walk to Capitol

Beat facet location, location, location 2 blocks from train station

Studio Gem was a great place to stay for a week exploring Washington DC and is located in a vibrant area. It was very well equipped with most of what we needed (with the property owner being very receptive to suggestions of what could be added). The full curtains were appreciated as someone who wants to sleep in darkness. The shower was A+. The metro was only a couple of blocks away and was easy to use and get around the city. Having shops and places to eat nearby was a bonus. Overall we were very pleased with our choice of accommodation in DC.

The mattress was on the hard side, but that's a matter of personal choice. A couple of times it was an inconvenience not being able to adjust the air-conditioning. We were unable to locate a main light-switch and the laundry room, but the property owner replied to my SMS promptly. Overall, there was nothing at all that makes me regret our choice of accommodation; we are happy and pleased we stayed here.

Lo cerca a la estacion del metro, del National Mall. Tienes a pocas cuadras un Whole Foods. La hospitalidad de Kam que cubrió todos nuestros requerimientos. Esta muy cerca de Navy Yard, donde puedes pasar una tarde espectacular.Te recomiendo Dacha Beer. Excelente estadía.

-thin walls, kept hearing people walk /do stuff upstairs which woke me up -short bathroom door clearance, taller people can bang their head (as I did) -pillow is not comfortable

Owner is very helpful

This was a really good, clean apartment, which had all the facilities we needed. Very close to a railway station, and walking distance to some of the main tourist sites (e.g Congress building, National Mall, etc). Would definitely stay here again.

Location was great. Coffee shops just down the street for breakfast. Metro stop is 200 yards away
