"Perfect stay in the Peak District"

We had a perfect stay in this lovely cottage in the beautiful village of Great Longstone. The cottage was spotlessly clean and plenty big enough for our family of five adults. It is well situated close to the two excellent village pubs and a short walk to a third in Little Longstone. Plenty of lovely walks from the village including the Monsal Trail, and lots more a short drive away. Sheila met us when we arrived and showed us around the house which was lovely.

This lovely house is situated in a beautiful village in the Peak District with lots of great places and outdoor activities nearby. We found it ideal for our family of 5. There's fantastic walking on the doorstep with the Monsal Trail, with a host of sights a short ride away. Car is most handy but there are public transport options available, even to this quiet corner of Derbyshire.

Very clean and comfortable, lots to do nearby, two great pubs in walking distance and a playgroud at the top of the road. Local fields for a nice morning walk right by the house.

Downstairs doesnt get much natural light, but its nice and bright upstairs.

Absolutely lovely hosts, beautiful cottage, spacious, brilliant location and super clean! Only stayed the one night but this place made you want to stay more! Extremely close to all attractions and sights near by for example, Chatsworth house, farm shop and garden centre, The Monsal trail, Haddon hall and many more! Will definitely be visiting again in the future :)
