Comfy& cosy … perfect getaway

How comfortable and compact it was- plus close to the city centre 25minute steady walk or £4 uber depending on the weather

Noisy at night Hard to find the driveway as no signage Flag indicated it was student accommodation for Palestinians? Poor range of bathroom items, shower floods so need a new bathmat each shower, very poor lighting in bathroom, bed a bit too small, old towels, pillow cases not ironed

The property was exactly as described. Walking distance to the centre of Cambridge, and very clean

While it didn’t bother us too much, it is near quite a busy road and you could hear traffic passing. Also when an HGV or bus passes it does shake the floor a little.

Nice property, very clean, good location easy walk into the city.

The bed was a little on the small side and it was a little noisy from the traffic, other than that very good.

The Scholar’s Loft is a spacious and beautifully decorated home, full of charming details. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into designing the space. Unfortunately, despite how lovely the place is, we had the worst night of our entire month-long trip through England here. The house is located right next to a very busy road (Barton Road), and every time a large vehicle passed — whether a big car, a van, a coach or a small truck —— the entire building shook. The bed, the floor, the walls — even the mugs on the kitchen shelf — all rattled with each passing vehicle. I’ve never experienced anything like it. We weren’t able to fall asleep until around 1 a.m., when the traffic finally began to ease — only for the nightmare to start all over again at 5 a.m. It’s such a shame, because if it weren’t for this issue, the place would be absolutely perfect.
