On arrival, the accommodation was not provided in a clean, hygienic, or fit-for-purpose condition. The issues were present immediately on entry and included human faeces in the toilet, pubic hair in the bath and shower, overflowing bins, a filthy fridge and kitchen areas, and food waste left in the sink. Due to the condition of the property, we were forced to clean the accommodation ourselves in order to make it usable. More than two weeks later, despite ongoing contact and escalation, I am no further forward in obtaining an appropriate resolution. Poor service from both the house provider and booking.com Do not stay here!
GBGreat location with secure parking within the city walls. Really comfortable house with three nice sized bedrooms and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Chester again in the future.
A couple of minor things, the tap in the kitchen has clearly been leaking for quite some time as its warped the cupboard housing the boiler. It's not just a trickle, it totally flooded the worktop. We had to use bathroom towels to soak up the water. I'm sure a plumber would be able to fix it. I think they must assume everyone eats out as there were only two pans which were big and bigger! We had to cook pasta in a pan that had burnt rice welded to the bottom of it. Also no cheese grater, we managed to improvise using the ice tongues!

GBSuperb location in the centre of Chester. Only 1 min walk & you're up on the city walls. Secure parking but only for 1 car. Dining table great for a group of 6 with plenty of space for eating & games. Tardis-like house - plenty of room & light. Downstairs loo was great.
Step down to the bathroom a little dangerous being at the top of the stairs & steps up to 3rd bedroom are steep. Quite noisy at night, but I guess that's the price you pay for being right in the city centre. Back yard a mess.
GBGBThe location was excellent. Within a few minutes of all the attractions, restaurants etc. However, it was still generally quiet. Parking was provided in a locked area behind the house. The house was very comfortable for our group of four adults. It was spacious and nicely decorated. We could use streaming services like Netflix. There was an outside seating area. Communication and access were excellent.
The parking space was quite tight.

GBWe really liked the location it was perfect for a weekend in Chester, the accommodation was lovely and suited us well. Would recommend and book again.
Tiny niggles, the back door was broken and wouldn't lock, only 2 loo rolls left for 6 girls wasn't enough! Some of the pots we had to rewash before using. The company were great to deal with though when I got in touch about the door, hopefully they got it sorted after we left.
