La Casa de Hierba - Casa de campo de diseño con jardín y wifi cerca de las playas de Llanes

My husband and I were on vacation and wanted to visit a national park, which is why we chose accommodation here. Location is good. Unfortunately, we left the rented property before the end of our reservation. The whole house smelled of cigarette smoke, and there were larvae and worms in the kitchen cabinets. The owner was informed about this situation.

This is a stunning and super cool house - architecturally brilliant, well equipped, comfortable, quiet but within easy reach of beaches, mountains and restaurants. We loved it! The host was really excellent, sending very clear instructions and many local recommendations. He always answered promptly.

Nice building design. Modern interior. Nice fittings. Good location for travelling around.

Smell of drains in the house - we had to leave the bathroom extractor fans on to try and reduce it. Not nice. Also the stone terrace is dangerously slippery when wet. It needs a much better arrangement of mats from the grass to the door to make it safe.

The location was great, rural but close to town and beaches. Quiet and peaceful. The host was always very responsive to our questions.

No windows that open other than a slanting door in each of the bedrooms, so no way to get fresh air in the main area of the house. No privacy door to master bedroom. No basic kitchen supplies like dishwasher soap, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, or coffee. For people expecting to be able to cook, not to know this ahead of time was challenging because late at night we had to go to the grocery store for more supplies. There was also very little dish soap and no draining board for the dish rack.
