'Hidden Jewel' city centre + FREE PARKING

The location is deceiving. It is close to the road and adjacent to an industrial area but that should not put vistors off. It was very quiet throughout and only a 5 minute walk to the Barbican and harbour area where there are bars, retaurants and shops. It is a short walk along to Plymouth Ho and the Lido. Also secure the parking and a gated complex was a big bonus.

There were a couple of very minor issues but nothing that would prevent our party returning. I met with Martin as we were leaving and discussed them in person he was happy to take our feedback.

Convenient for town centre.

The parking was extremely difficult. The access was very tight and with a Ford Mondeo only had a couple of inches to spare in the garage, which was the only parking space. Also there were 6 or 7 large full laundry bags in the garage which all had to be moved to allow you to get out of the car. Ideally the owners should explain the parking arrangements. Wouldn't have booked at all had we known how inaccessible it was. The accommodation was essentially good but there was nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom except the floor even though there was lots of room and a table would have solved that problem. There were no mirrors in the bedrooms, but four on the landing which seems bizarre. No occasional tables near the seating area to put a cup or glass. All minor faults you may think but would make a huge difference to the comfort of guests.

Fantastic experience. Host phoned prior to our arrival to ensure that we were comfortable with directions, access and parking. Property really spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Powerful shower. Best equipped kitchen I've encountered in a holiday let. Location excellent. Great to have 2 separate beds in one of the rooms so the children didn't have to share. Everything was clean and overall there was a very welcoming vibe. Clear notes left with Wi-Fi code, lots of flyers for nearby attractions and restaurants on the noticeboard in the kitchen. Everything was easy to use. All weekend I was thinking "I could live in this house, it's so nice". And all for a good price :-)

It would have been useful to have a freezer!

Very comfortable and felt like home from home.

Parking restrictions outside in day. Garage included with rental. Car did fit in garage but not much room to open door once car inside.
