House beautifully clean and well-equipped. 3 lovely bedrooms. Good shower. Some essential basics already provided - thank you. Quiet area. Friendly neighbours.

Location a bit back-street and challenging to find, but OK. No visible house number from the street, and no other helpful indication. Steep external up-stairs access with baggage not ideal but workable. Single major problem, and the reason for 9/10 - no separate toilet for 5 guests. The unavailability when somebody is in the shower etc. (disastrous), or the discomfort having a shower/shaving following a toilet-user is really nasty. Unfortunately we did not get to meet our host, but had good friendly contact by messaging prior to the stay.

Very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of room. Good location (walking distance to Hawick) and very short journey to Branxholm Park House wedding venue.

"Enjoyable stay in an area we love!"

It would have been easier to be able to control times heating was on although when we contacted the owner they did come up straight away to alter times for us!
