Desert Lily - Room 3 with shared pool access

The common areas and the room were very nice. We didn’t have a chance to use them, but there were tea and coffee options available, which was a thoughtful touch. The restaurant options nearby were also very nice.

At night, the stars were beautiful to see. However, the lights in the common areas reduced the visibility of the stars. It would have been helpful if there had been instructions for the lights so we could turn them off. Also, the outlets in the room were strangely loose and did not hold our chargers properly, they kept slipping out. In addition, the room was not very clean. Of course, since the house is surrounded by nature, it is normal to see some insects, but finding so many dead bugs in a room that appeared to have just been cleaned was disappointing.

The house and facilities are very nice. The bedroom was a little spartan.

The road into the property is dirt, rough, full of dips, but not impassible. I drove my 1964 Corvette in, but I would not drive a more modern one (C6 - C8) on that road because you would probably lose the front air dam. We summoned an Uber for dinner and the driver had a lot of hesitation going out there in his brand new BMW X3. One other guest drove a 2019 Honda Civic without issue. Any SUV can make the trip without issue.

The shared kitchen and living space is gorgeous. The outdoor area is quiet and beautiful, the perfect spot to unwind after a day of hiking and exploring. We interact a bit with some of the other guests and while we didn't meet the host, Jenn was extremely responsive via text and accommodated all our needs. The room was as per pictures, as well as the rest of the property.

There are fans and lights in the shared space that can be dimmed/slowed down but we didn't clearly understand if we could or not switch everything fully off for the night. It would be great to have some brief explanations/signs in the area, so we make sure everyone is aware to turn off the lights and fans when nobody is using the that space.

Very beautiful home. Having access to a full kitchen was really great. Enjoyed the night sky as we sat enjoying the firepit area. Short drive to the west entrance of the park was nice.

Only thing I was unaware of was the rough dirt road access to the property. Fortunately the weather was in our favor but rain has left many ruts in the roads leading to the home. We learned there are some roads that are easier access than others.

Location is amazing, less than 10 minutes to park entrance. Best stocked kitchen I’ve ever been in. The yard and view is unmatched.

Can it open windows in the rooms, no bathroom fan. Ventilation isn’t great if you don’t use the AC.

The hotel is small, very cozy, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. There’s also a great swimming pool — perfect for cooling off after a hot day. The staff here are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. They treat you like a friend, and you can turn to them with any request. A special thank you to Noura at the reception — she is so kind and attentive, just like a true friend. Also, big thanks to Ahwr, the waiter at the restaurant. His service is excellent, and he is such a pleasant, kind, and cheerful person. I truly felt at home during my stay. Thank you to everyone!
