Swordfish Cottage **Next to the Harbour**

The location was perfect for us-central enough and on the harbour, without being excessively busy with foot traffic past. Well within reach of everything we wanted. A couple of very pleasant pubs within a couple of minutes stroll, plenty of good eateries too. The fact it was effectively a basement apartment was an accidental stroke of good luck-a nice comfortable temperature whilst it was red hot outside. Plenty of space for us and the dog, and everything we needed was there and then some. We had such a relaxing stay and felt very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely location within walking distance of all pubs and restaurants. Beautifully presented with everything we need for a comfortable stay. Although it was a basement apartment, it was welcoming, bright, warm and cosy. Communication before, when we arrived and after was excellent. We look forward to returning.

There were a few housekeeping issues but we feel reassured this was just a one-off occurrence.

Unable to open any windows due to status of the property and my wife is menopausal so fresh air is a must from time to time (even though it was January) A very creaky bedside cabinet which every time either of us turned over in bed it made quite a noise. Uncomfortable sofa bed in living room.

Excellent location opposite the harbour, easy walking distance to the town. Comfortable, warm accommodation with everything you would need, good communication with our hosts by email and a welcome phone call, would definitely stay again

Brilliant location within easy reach of Whitby centre.
