Swordfish Cottage is a little gem and has everything you could ever need for a break in Whitby. Great location being a stones throw away from the centre of town and the harbour been straight across the road from the entrance. I can't recommend it enough and loved our stay 10/10..
I'm being really picky here.!! This would not put me off returning to Swordfish again and is in no way anything to do with the accommodation. The cottage is positioned at the side of a road so you do get a bit of noise from traffic which is understandable. I think we were very unlucky on one particular day as a road sweeper went past the cottage a couple of times quite early in the morning and woke us up (it was loud!!). Think Whitby council could do this particular road a little later in the day as there is quite a few holiday lets along this road.
