Beautiful apartment in a great location with a wonderful view. Everything you could possibly need was provided and Carlos, the host, was super helpful with loads of useful information and even a small tour of Funchal pointing out restaurants he recommended, location of supermarkets and other useful places. We would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

Appartment was really gut very central, mit amazing view from Balcony (Atlantic Ozean from one side and the mounting on the other side), very clean, comfottable. The Kirchen is gut organised for cooking i mean both technic and also oil, spices, Coffee capseln. In the appartment you can also find the rain couts, umbrella and stock for walking, wich were very helpfull regarding the changible climate in March on Madeira. If you rent a car the appartment has separate very safe closed parking place. As I already told it is very close to all to old towan, to port, good Restaurants, to the market, two big supermarkts with very good choice. But the best in our stay in Atlantic Blue is the owner of the appartment Carlos. He is really very open, kind and helpful person. He explain and even himself showed us the main important place around the appartment and Funchal ( supermarkts, local market, way to downtown, recomend us good Restaurants, parks and place to visit) The contact with Carlos per WhatsApp was very easy, he answer quick and was always ready to help. In our last day we have the guide Tour around the island, and Carlos was so kind and allowed us to leave our suitcases until afternoon the end of our tour. We are really appreciate Carlos and his wife for hospitality and feel us really as at home.

Host’s kind and thoughtful hospitality (especially generous with providing advice and time, and flexible with leaving luggage beyond checkout time). Convenient location for bus transit; proximity to tourist areas. Apartment is spacious and quiet, and has everything one would need for a comfortable homelike stay. Great value for the money.

On a ‘major’ street, although there is not much traffic or traffic noise. Tiny bit of musty odor in the bathroom.
