Nine Yards Bell Tents at the TT - Douglas

Shower were warm

Bed cover and side of pillows wet ever morning. Clothes covered in bits dropping from the tent roof. Very over sold for what you got not good value for mo eh at all.

Great staff, clean and comfortable tents. Good vibe.

No swimming pool as advertised, no where to wash/clean plates cutlery personal items, food nothing like advertised (bacon/sausage sandwiches and burgers/fries was about the extent of it, despite photos depicting pasta dishes etc)

Good location, kitchen open for good morning and night . Staff very friendly could leave luggage in the building before and after check it .tents and beds comfortable.

Toilets too far away from the tents for night time . Portaloos be handy . Also arrived at 9am couldn't get into the tent til 3pm after travelling through the night. Early checkout too 10 am.

Todo desde el personal hasta el lugar. Todo limpia, las carpas de lujo. En el único lugar que las camas eran comodas, pudimos descansar super bien.

Location was great, tents great but could do with electric in them for charging. People running the site were really friendly and would take on board any queries you had. Bike was parked very near the tents so felt safe.

Food at hub was horrendous, tiny portions one piece of bacon one sausage in a huge roll for £7 rip off never went back. Toilet didn't have toilet roll when I went a couple of times. One out of two toilets the door wouldn't lock. WiFi only works if your in the hub, toilets smelt bad could do with air fresheners or a more regular clean.

Absolutely brilliant location for the TT, the tents were clean, well equipped and the wider facilities of proper toilets and showers were a god send. Also having a small kitchen open pretty much all day was great for breakfast and a late night snack. I personally really appreciated access to a quiet reading room for downtime and the cinema room too for the TT highlights. It was a shame the pool wasn’t open but this was out of the Nine Yards teams hands as the lifeguard let them down, but the fact this was even going to be an option was brilliant. The guys really had ever base covered. All the staff were great too, very helpful and polite, nothing seemed too much trouble for them and it really did make for an enjoyable stay. Thanks all and a special thanks to Tony for helping us out with our luggage at the end.

I thought the canteen facilities would be more extensive but there was a perfectly acceptable little kitchen open very long hours doing bacon baps and instant coffee

The only issue is shortgae of charging facilities. Given how we all rely on phones, earbuds, tablets etc especially if you're a visitor needing sat nav etc. There was one room with a stack in a stack in a stack of power points for charging and everyone fighting to get them and a chair in the library. It is only 30 minutes walk to the grandstand but be prepared for big hills. Not venue fault but just be prepared for Douglas topography
