OASIA - Boutique Surf House (ADULTS ONLY)

I recently enjoyed a 10-day stay at OASIA Boutique Surf House. From the clean and stylish rooms, to the friendly team, and the peaceful local setting, it was exactly what I was seeking in my Weligama stay — a place to regroup, hang with interesting people and enjoy some surf and yoga time. A 12-minute walk or short tuk-tuk ride to Weligama Beach, the beauty of the OASIA is that it’s close enough to the surf scene but just far enough away to offer a truly relaxed vibe where you primarily hear the many different bird species hanging in the trees. If you’re headed to Weligama and looking for a relaxed stay, do yourself a favour and check out the OASIA.

It’s a 10 to 15 min walk to the beach - not an issue as I was aware before booking and enjoy the short walk

This place is amazing! I really felt like home. Every person from staff and also the guests are so nice. Rooms are very clean and they can be cleaned during your stay if you need. Breakfast are very tasty. There are some additional activities that you can join like yoga or surf lesson (additionally paid).

Amazing place with it’s unique vibe. As a solo traveler I enjoyed the tranquility and nice community. Every detail is taken into account. I highly recommend it to beginner surfers as well because the coach is highly professional and the beach is perfect for that. I would also advise to try yoga on rooftop with their experienced yoga teacher! I have to mention that the information provided by the owner was super helpful. I completed almost everything on the list. All the places mentioned were worth visiting!

Location is not the most convenient as it’s a little bit far from the main road. I would consider that if you like going out in the evening alone. There is always a possibility to book tuk tuk or get on one nearby though. Still worth it!

Everything was excellent! Nina and Teja (owners) were super friendly and helpful. Gave lots of tips on where to go what to do and arranged transportation to the airport. Staff working in this house was awesome too! Girls who were in charge of breakfast, security guys and they had yoga teacher in the house too! Basil cocktail it’s a must if you are staying here! Would definitely comeback here again!

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Weligama. The property is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, but is still a walk or short Tuk Tuk drive from the beach. Great place to stay if you are looking for surfing, yoga, to relax or meet new people. The property honestly felt like a home away from home, Nina and Teja have made such a cosy, homely environment it was hard to leave!

Such a serene spot, away from the beach. Activities every day. Really tasty food. And such kind people.

Originally booked for 5 days and stayed for 9! I had been travelling round Sri Lanka and this was by far the highlight of my trip. Nina and Teja have created a beautiful environment where you instantly feel welcome and relaxed. They’ve selected an amazing team of staff who are super helpful and friendly, they go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need at all times. It’s incredible value for money- the whole place has been done to a very high standard, it’s exceptionally clean and well designed. There are so many nice spots around the hotel to hang out in- the back garden and rooftop were my favourite :) and there’s plenty of social activities to get involved in if you’re a solo traveller, but can equally have your privacy and space if/ when you prefer to. The location is idyllic, a short but beautiful walk out of town makes you feel like you’re almost waking up in the jungle as it’s so peaceful. Already planning my next trip here as it feels like home away from home 🩷 Thank you to the whole Oasia team!

Nothing, everything was absolutely perfect throughout!

It was an amazing stay! Breakfasts and coffee were delicious, the room was clean and comfortable. Nice pool and the yard is awesome. Jungle back yard is a piece of art. But it’s all about warm and friendly atmosphere. Gladly recommend this hotel!
