"Ideal for our one night stay"

Good amenities ,plenty of space , comfortable beds.Close to shops and eateries.

Initially difficult to find the entrance,needed a little help from the proprietor,she was excellent.Very steep stairs up to the apartment,shower might be difficult for the older people,climbing into bath.

Very comfortable clean beds. Everything in the kitchen you would need. Very spacious. Lots of hot water to have a bath. Full length bath. Convenient for local tram stop. Supermarket close-by. Helpful/responsive owner.

Terrible smell in the locality that smelt of rotten eggs. Locals on the tram informed us it is an on-going problem with the local landfill site/tip. Parking is on road/street parking. WiFi was weak/poor.

Near where we wanted to be

The music from the venue below made sleep impossible and we were travelling for a race so needed a quiet early night which was sadly not to be and the cutlery and crockery were really not clean sorry

"Very disappointing."

The rooms were large and clean

One bedroom has no window, just a skylight which doesn’t open so the room got very hot during the heatwave. The other bedroom has a window which open right onto next door’s veranda so it was security risk to be left open, hence that room got very hot too. The kitchen and lounge room has no opening windows and only a vent, so the blinds were left closed all day to avoid excessive solar gain. There were no drawer or wardrobes suitable for clothes (except small bedside tables ) so we all had to live out of our bags. The TV has no Ariel cable (there is a wall socket and the £7 cable from the neighbouring Asda store just reaches) so u less you buy a cable you need to rely on the WiFi which is very weak at that end of the apartment so it’s regularly buffering. Finally the parking is not outside the apartment, there is ‘unloading only’ for the rear of the shops. There is a massive Asda carpark which you can’t use overnight. We chose to park a short walk away at a public parking area where someone kindly left a note asking us not to park there overnight ! There are more grumbles I could rant about including the noisy trams, noisy pubs, stiff front door but I feel my point is already made. So in summary the “Large two bedroom apartment with WiFi and parking” had two excessively hot rooms, with poor WiFi, and no parking. £900+ for the week was not value in my opinion but hopefully the owner will consider spending some of the profit on a tv ariel and some drawers.

"Great stay- will definitely book again!"

Spacious flat, excellent location.. right opposite Asda and the high street. Excellent transport, the tram is literally on the door step, taking you along the Flyde coast and short journey to Pleasure beach!
