Apartment One at The Courtyard, Number 11

Perfect location for attending my daughter wedding at the combermere Abbey loved the apartment . Everything was cozy and new so easy to use it was perfect.

The heating system did get a lot of frustration but we contacted the owners Hugh who did come out and eventually put on the heating for us so it was lovely in the end. Only thing that was a down Syed was the Wi-Fi we wanted to watch TV and relax, but it didn’t work. Hugh did try for most of the evening to get it to work but they tried and tried and tried, but it didn’t work in the end they were gonna try and look at maybe a different Internet.

Lovely apartment, clean and tidy, in a quiet village.

Only concern on this occasion was no wifi connection and TV signal poor, kept loosing signal.

The flat is lovely, bright and fresh, appears to be newly converted. Spotlessly clean. Kitchen area is nice, well equipped, and the shower room is fine with liquid soaps and loads of toilet rolls provided. Communication with the host was excellent which is always reassuring. Parking is in a public car park across the road, free 3:00pm to 08:00am. The village looks lovely I'd like to return to see it properly.

We didn't like the annoying knocking on a door somewhere downstairs at 7am, you could hear it in both bedrooms. Access to the flat is round a dark alley and the lighting wasn't working. We could only see 2 x channels on the TV, there may be an issue with the aerial.

The property is very well looked after. Very clean, and has everything you need.

Excellent location, alongside a cafe and a great Thai restaurant for the evening. Walked around the village and visited the canal area.

Apartment is on the first floor but the internal stairs are easy to negotiate, even for me as I’m a little less mobile. Bed and sofa a bit lower than we’re used to at home, but manageable for a short stay.

Location was brilliant. Lovely village. Car park opposite. Lovely cafe with really friendly staff. Easy walk to the canal and the 15 locks. Will come again.

Apartment was great. It does need blinds on the windows near the bedrooms. One for privacy but also to block the bright security light outside which made the bedroom very bright if you didnt want the door closed. Also the sheets weren't ironed and were very,very crumpled.

Great location. Lovely apartment.
