USUSComfortable furniture and bed. Great fireplace! Beautiful setting in the pine forest.
USWe loved the whole interior - wood everywhere! But especially the fireplace which is not only river rock gorgeous, but wonderfully functional with its large grate. Parking is easy, wifi good. The backyard is large and full of trees, both evergreen and deciduous - glorious colors in the Fall. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the linens soft.
USEasy to locate on a quiet corner lot. Parking the cars was easy. Getting in the door with the code was very easy. The decks are really nice. The yard is huge! Walking distance to hiking trails! The view was beautiful!
It’s not something to not like it’s just something to be aware of. The stairs are very steep to go into the loft. And I did not pay attention to the fact that the other bathroom was down in the basement that was my mistake.

USFantastic hosts with great communication! Cozy old cabin in a super location; easy 10–15 minute walk to town or a quick few minutes’ drive. Cabin has plenty of space and everything you may need to cook and relax and is in a quiet but easily accessible location. Loved our stay.
USIt was quaint as I expected an older cabin to be. It was close to town and within walking distance to the state park. It had all the things one needs to be comfortable.
Even though the owner asked if you could come by and we said yes I didn’t think that was necessary while we were visiting. He used a blower on the decks and around the property, understandable with all the acorns dropping from the tree. We feel he should’ve done that before we arrived . He also came into the house while we were on a walk to remove the air conditioner and didn’t tell us he was going to do that. I also believe he turned on the heater to automatically come on in the evening. We didn’t know he did that until the evening when we felt the heat and smelled it. So that was odd. In the instructions, there was a Tiffany lamp that was supposed to automatically come on, but it never did. The upstairs room smelled a bit musty. I couldn’t sleep up there due to allergies. The cabin was very cute however, and has all the amenities.
AEGreat cottage in Idyllwild, loved the place just a shame we only had a short time there. Would have loved the opportunity to enjoy the downstairs area … great 😊
