The check-in process was efficient and the staff were amazing. The gardens were beautiful The highlight for me was the cellar bar. The Brahman Amber cocktail was the best cocktail ever.

I didn't hate anything but I wish I could change these: 1. Room was a bit small and basic for the price. A bath tub would have been great. 2. The duvet was basically a sheet. There were electric blankets so you got warm but a nicer, heavier duvet would have made a difference. The pillows were also very uncomfortable. 3. My massage was disappointing. The therapist basically just rubbed oil all over me. The spa was beautiful and clean though and my husband loved his massage. 4. We dined in the casual restaurant. I asked if they could do cocktails and they couldn't but they had a bar with a cocktail menu downstairs. They should allow you to order from there.

Beautiful gardens

One of our rooms was right next door to the linen room, so from very early in the morning staff was in and out of it and it were talking at the top of their voices . Room 106 did not have hot water in the morning to shower. We have also left behind few items of clothing in the cupboard, only realized it 6 hours later, called the reception- they confirmed that they have the items but in the 6 hours no one bothered to call and tell us…
