The flat is in a stunning location and spacious. It’s fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful, and the host made us feel very welcome during check-in

Unfortunately, there was a temporary electrical instability issue during our stay, including a power outage one night. However, we understand this was beyond the host’s control

It was nice to meet Jacky on arrival who was friendly and welcoming. It was great to have 2 keys to access the property during our stay. The apartment was in a great location next to Pingo Doce shop and very close to the river, downtown Portimao and near some good restaurants. Parking was also fine as there is lots of free parking in the surrounding streets and by the river. It was handy to be close to the Tennis and Paddle tennis courts, as well as being a short car journey or 20-30 minute walk to Praia da Rocha. The apartment was clean and well looked after and my favourite part was the balcony with the view of the river. Although it was in the town, it was quiet enough in the evening and at night to have the windows open.

As we were arriving late, it could have been convenient to have a contactless check in/collection of keys. Having to pay an additional price for arriving late as well as a large deposit, was an additional cost to factor in.
