Estepona - Playa - 2 dormitorios con jardín y acceso directo a la piscina Is15

I have been to Viila Cana many times and know it well so I like the location. The house itself is very nice and the settees were comfitble. The beds were also comfy with plently of storage space. Handy for the pool.

Initially, all seemed fine but I soon discovered the bathroom photos on the site did not match what was offered. On the Booking.com site, it shows a white bathroom suite with a walk-in shower, also a separate w.c. We had a dated colured suite with a shower over the bath and no separate w.c. I wanted a walk-in shower due to mobility issues. When I opened a cupboard door in the bathroom, it fell out of its housing and the wood was rotten. In the kitchen, I found the oven didn't work and I couldn't find a instruction book. Many of the plug sockets did not work either. The kitchen was poorly equipped with inadequate lighting. In the lounge, I tried to plug in the table lamp and the front of the wall socket just fell off, exposing wires. This seems very dangerous especially for children. The TV has stallite news channels and Netflix and Amazon but the internet went down and I couldn't get them. I tried to carry on but decided to leave early and book a hotel instead. All these problems were reported to a staff member at Villa Cana but I was told I should have reported this straight away, which is fine but the office isn't always open and I was not given any contact number or email for out of hours. As I said eariler, I have been to Villa Cana many times and plan to return in September, but it definitely isn't here.
