The front door was very difficult to open and close. We struggled to get in and open the door to leave. The owner said it was a safety mechanism however it seemed stuck, we had to literally pull the entire door to get out and basically push with a huge force to get in, even after the door was unlocked.

The hostess never took the time to meet us for the duration of our stay, even when we called with an issue. We got to the security gate and they didn’t have the key, we had to get our Uber driver to drive around to find the cleaner that supposedly had the key. When we made the booking, we asked if it was possible for an earlier check in as we were flying in, we got no response, on the day of arrival we were told that it’s not possible, so we asked if our luggage can be stored, and we were told there’s no place to store it. 3pm check in time is an hour later than most SA establishments. On arrival we were told that the dishwasher and sliding door handle was broken and will be fixed whilst there on holiday. The door handle was fixed, but the dish washer did not work for the duration of our stay. Apartment lacks first day amenities like soaps, milk, bottled water. No personal touch to make guests feel welcome. There is no daily cleaning, even though you are charged a separate cleaning fee. The entrance door lock would not open and when I called the hostess, she said she’s aware of it, I must just keep wiggling the key … 20 minutes later it opened. The main bedroom door, does not have a lock. The windows in the bedroom don’t seal. It’s 15 minute walk from the apartment to the access point to the beach.
