May house Song Lung Khung Long is strategically located in Ta Xua, walking distance to the dinosaur spine. Yes literally walking downwards about 500m away from May House Song Lung Khung Long I read the reviews of past reviewers so we came prepared. Having lots of thick and comfy clothes so we could layer ourselves to sleep when the night turns very cold. Their heating bed surely helps in providing us warmth and make us feel so cozy. Yet there is a timer and power was off 😆 so I was freezing when i woke up and quickly turn back on again. Our only issue is the cold water 🥶 whenever we use the loo, we have to bear with the cold water. But the day is so beautiful with sunshine and unparalleled sunset 🌅 hues The female owner, Thuy was very helpful in getting us there. She helped to book the transportation there. U can reach her via booking.com message after u booked. They prefer bank transfers in advance or cash. Please bring cash here for dinner. They serve very fresh vegetables plucked from their garden. We had sooo much of em. And we also ordered their chicken hotpot and the soup is yummm. Check out the photos. Owner Thuỷ even walked us to another coffee place to watch sunset and took photos for us. She’s very very kind and also suggested that she walks the dinosaur spine every morning and if we have difficulty climbing back up, we can call for motor service to get back to May House Song Lung Khung Long. She shared stories and information on Ta Xua and May house. They started in 2019 and mostly locals come here for dinosaur spine. So if you are worried about getting here, fret not! She will help you 🤩🤩 Must also visit Bla Bla Coffee and Chill ! It’s a cool coffee place opened by their friend. Lack of hot water 🥲 for shower and hand washing. Maybe heater needs to be fixed and things be perfect.

Everything is perfect. We got a free to borrow hestingmatrass and they were so kind. Service was really good and even when we wanted to cancel the other night, it was no problem

The member of staff was pleasant.

It is quite remote and I found myself being bored and not having anything to do. No where to walk or nothing close by to visit. The road here is pretty bad also, 40mins to do 12km on a bike.

On-site ataff don't speak English but were helpful. The person in charge via email [Thuy] was very responsive & helpful to organize a birthday cake for my friend. We ordered dinner with the homestay and it was delicious! View would have been 10/10 if not for the foggy skies.

We were given a room with deads ants all over the bed. Suspected the staff might have just sprayed insecticide to ensure no ants before we checked in. We thought the homestay is built around part of nature, so ants are inevitable so we just swept them away. Went out for a short trek and came back finding more dead ants lying on the bed. We then fed back to the staff about the ants issue and requested a change of room since only 2 of the 5 rooms are occupied. The staff do not appeared too surprised and quickly change room for us. It appeared appalling why we would be given a room (which they appeared to know there's an issue) rather than one that is clean. Other than this issue, the stay was acceptable.

Worth the trip up to the mountain. We were a bit lost due to the weather but the host was very responsive and guided us to the right place. Dinner and breakfast were nice and the view was breathtaking.

Really chill, when you wake up u can see cloud near the Window. Homestay have good Design almost by wood👍 Breakfast is ok & delicious

Only the road come to homestay is not so good

The staff was super nice and friendly, trying to help whenever we asked. The view from the rooms was marvelous and there are a lot of must-visit places around as well as good cafes.

The mattrasses are quite hard, but the owners gave us extra blankets and it was not really a problem.
