Amplia casa en un barrio muy tranquilo.

Hubo muchas situaciones realmente desagradables: - La cortina de la ducha estaba REPLETA de hongos. La renovaron el último día de mi estadía. - Una tarde al volver y entrar en mi habitación mi puerta estaba abierta, siendo que la había dejado cerrada con llave. No le di importancia. Pero al día siguiente en la tarde, mientras descansaba en mi habitación alguien intentó abrir forzadamente mi puerta. - Una noche me levanté a buscar agua y otro inquilino estaba haciendo sus asuntos con la puerta del baño abierta dejando una imagen tan desagradable como un aroma del pasillo. - Varias veces el volumen de la música y peliculas fue excesivo en ocasiones incluso después de las 22 horas. La casa no tiene reglas claras. Al llegar el dueño te hace un poco cordial recorrido y te comenta algunas reglas, como la del ruido o limpieza, que ellos mismos no cumplen. Lo único que podría recomendar de esta casa es el mantenerse fuera.

It was a comfortable spot. Good company. Deon is a retired man with a funny personality. I enjoyed the conversations. I felt comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend this spot.

The host was very verbally aggressive and abusive, tried to intimidate me, and a male chauvinist. I am a female, a veteran, and this host is much bigger than me in size and used this to his advantage to intimidate me. There are no refunds, hence when you pay him he feels he can treat you poorly because there are no refunds. But this is definitely not going to happen with me. I communicated via messaging from Booking.com with him on several occasions. I told him that I would arrive after 11 pm and later informed him that I do not text and drive hence this is why I did not inform him earlier about my whereabouts. I arrived at the wrong address via GPS and when I informed the host that I am at the wrong address he was dismissive, cold, didn't care, and didn't believe that technology can make mistakes by giving the wrong directions, which I found strange. He also lied and stated that I informed him that I don't know how to use technology, which I quickly had to rebut and inform him that I never told him that and in fact I am in school virtually and over 99 percent of my work requires me to be technologically savvy. He was only concerned and angry that he waited up until 2 am for me as this is the only thing he angrily ranted about. He didn't care about my whereabouts and if I was safe. He is the weirdest host I have encountered. He made derogatory statements about different parts of the US, as this person is from South Africa. To summarize I didn't feel safe staying here so I informed Booking. com but they did not do anything about it. The host continued to charge me although I never stayed one night which I am following up with my bank as this is fraud. By the way the house is not up to par in cleanliness as other viewers agreed per the ratings and the room is tiny. The host also informed me that he had over 300 guests but if this is the case why only 2 or 3 reviews. That is very alarming!
