6am raid down the road with someone getting arrested,the house was filthy,maintained to a very poor standard,damp on the walls,nothing had been cleaned except the bedding since the last checkout,smashed glass in garden,grime on the cupboards,hair and urine on the toilet seat,scum around the sink,generally a disgusting house that needs deep cleaning,not fit for rent,the neighbour said it’s used for contractors.
GBThe bathroom was nice and felt new, but couldn’t use it as the boiler was broken!
The BROKEN BOILER , we contacted the owner straight away,she told us she knew about the problem and the plumber was there the day before, she said she would try to get hold of him again that morning, also the bins hadn’t been emptied for ages! At least three bins were overflowing bags and dirty nappies were strewn all over the garden and the smell was too bad for us to open the bedroom windows at night to get some air, the owner said she would get hold of the cleaner, we had our two young Grandchildren staying with us, we all wanted a shower before we went out but had to boil kettles to wash in the basin, for £120.00 per night it was disgraceful! I was under the impression that when we came home later that day the rubbish would have been taken away and the boiler sorted but no one had been round nothing had changed! I emailed the owner again who was full of apologies but little else, she said the boiler needed a new part but she knew this before we came she should have told us! She said she had another property if we wanted to look at it but the children were tired and were ready for bed, were we’re only at the property for one more day and we had plans with the Grandchildren and tickets booked for the last day so felt packing up finding the new place and unpacking again would have eaten in to our time with them,we’ve been home a week I’ve emailed the owner several times about a refund for our ruined holiday and I’m just getting the runaround,on our last day I was reminded about check out time so the place can be “SANITISED “for the next family! !!!
