Branlea - In the Heart of Ludlow

We had a really lovely few days staying at Branlea. The facilities are exceptional and the little touches made our day. So well appointed with so many places nearby to visit within a few miles. Parking was a bonus and was really close to the accommodation too. Would highly recommend, we will be back!

Location was great. Was v v clean Had everything we could have wanted. Communication was great

The en-suites were very spacious. The tiled floors were extremely COLD. So much so we had to really work ourselves up to use the bathroom. It was an exceptionally cold weekend which didn’t help but under floor heating would definitely be worth it! There was 4 of us due to stay and unfortunately one friend couldn’t make it - it would have been a bit of a squash in the 2nd bedroom as the bed is up against the wall. Oddly there was only 3 mugs, 3 glasses etc too

Branlea cottage was such a refreshing change away from all the hotel rooms we had been staying in. It was warm and comfortable with the option of a toasty gas fire in the lounge room. There were also throw rugs for extra cosiness if required. The heating (not the fire) is on a timer but there is a booster button if required. Inside is new and clean with two comfortable very quiet bedrooms with comfortable beds. They both have their on ensuites and plenty of hot water. We loved it there so much we ate in both nights and cooked in the large kitchen. There's also the option for Netflix (if you have your own account). Sue the owner is lovely and very easy to communicate with. If we are in Ludlow again (which is a beautiful town) we will definitely book Branlea.

Lovely, quiet location within easy walking distance of the town centre. Two spacious double bedrooms and immaculate ensuite bathrooms made for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with more than enough pots, pans, glasses etc. A bottle of wine upon arrival was a lovely touch, and the host was always quick to reply to questions.

Superb central location with free nearby parking. The cottage itself was very comfortable with some lovely furnishings. The welcome pack with wine was a nice touch. Would stay here again if in the area. Perfect size for a couple

The location was excellent, right in the centre and the Christmas tractor trail went past during our stay! There was everything we needed in the property including a nice welcome pack.

The bedrooms were on the cool side but I dont mind that but the bathrooms were freezing, especially the floors. This could be easily fixed by bleeding the radiators and putting some rugs down on the floors during the winter months. We did happen to stay when there had been snow fall! But this absolutely would not put me off staying again.

It had everything you would need, you were left a welcome pack which was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. It was also decorated ready for Xmas.
