2025 Award Winner Liverpool Ivy House - 4 Bedrooms

Pictures were accurate and it was a cosy house perfect for what we were looking for.

The language on the Amazon app is in a European language and we couldn’t understand the settings to change it. This was just a minor detail though and didn’t affect our stay, I just thought I’d point it out to prevent bad future reviews.

Good stay for 3 days, suitable for our life style. We can walk to Anfield stadium for a match .They have a kitchen and all facility eg. washing matchine

Property was very well presented, clean and welcoming. It was very homely.

The location was fantastic for the Liverpool football game!

We weren't overly chuffed with Ivy house. 1st of all, the heating could have been put on for arrival. It's still only March, and it was absolutely freezing and took a while to warm through! The towels aren't big enough to dry with. They are hand towels. We got intouch about the light not working at the top of the stairs, which I feel is quite important considering the stairs are narrow and steep. I was expecting someone to come and replace it. But when I mentioned this to the host, because I started the message with, "just letting you know" apparently it was OK to stay like it. The mattress was horrendous. We pulled the blind down in the bathroom, and it was filthy, the radiator in the kitchen was filthy. There was old food left in the toaster and oven. The curtains downstairs were broken and couldn't be used, and the blinds upstairs were broken, with blinds missing. I couldn't physically turn the shower on as the glass shower screen smashes on the sink. I had to get my husband to climb in the bath 1st and do it. The oven had fat and food on it. And the windows were so drafty in the top front room the wind howled all night, both nights. Everything in the house looks bodged. Everything is covered in thick white gloss paint, instead of being done properly. We weren't going to say anything because we just wanted to get away and forget about it, but as we have been asked to review the house and give 5 or 10s we thought we'd review.. I found the host very unhelpful and twisted my words.

I really love the decoration of the house. Julian were very kind, helpful and we are very grateful to have him as our host. Muslims shop are really close to us.
