I’m genuinely disappointed with my experience staying at this accommodation and feel it’s only fair to leave honest feedback for future guests. From the moment I arrived, the place gave the impression of being poorly looked after. There were letters and mail scattered around the entrance, which immediately made the property feel untidy and neglected rather than welcoming. Once inside, the house was very cold and seemed to trap the cold air. I tried to use the boiler, but it was overly complicated and not straightforward at all. There were no clear instructions, which meant I couldn’t easily get the heating working when it was needed most. Basic heating should never be a struggle for guests. The bathroom supplies were also disappointing. There was no proper toilet tissue provided, only a very cheap, poor-quality alternative, which felt inconsiderate and below the standard most guests would reasonably expect. The bed was one of the worst parts of the stay. The mattress was very uncomfortable, and I could clearly feel hard springs poking through, making it impossible to relax or get proper rest. Because of all these issues together, I didn’t feel comfortable staying the night and had to find and pay for alternative accommodation elsewhere, which caused extra stress and inconvenience. Overall, this was a really poor experience. It felt more like the focus was on collecting money than providing guests with a decent, comfortable place to stay. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.
