A really lovely stay,staff very friendly and helpful Breakfast was excellent

Wasn’t really sure where to get drinking water for the kettle,couldn’t see an outside tap so just took the kettle into the bar area and they filled it for us

Good location and a nice, cozy room.

The only negative I have is that I was told I needed to pay for my breakfast despite it showing breakfast was included in my booking.

Location for what we needed

Misleading description. The “private bathroom” refers to the fact there are 3 bathroom cubicles in a separate shower block that you have to walk to. The shower block is in a poor state of repair with mold, peeling paint, cobwebs and spiders everywhere. The pods themselves are ok but as others have said, you’ll be woken up early. They’re literally on the golf course so people will be outside when you open the door to walk to the above mentioned shower block in the morning. Our pod had a used plaster on the floor, the mattresses on the beds were beyond use so very noisy to lie on and you have to take the kettle to shower block as no water. There’s no light inside the pod other than a desk lamp and there’s no lighting to get you to the showers either. Fortunately I had a head torch in my car which I used the whole time and I also brought a towel just in case so was lucky. The pods and showers look like an idea to generate a bit of revenue for the club that just haven’t been thought through or executed correctly. Everything is looking tired.
