"Rustic, yet comfortable house with an unbeatable view of Val d’Orcia"

The views are incredible. We could see Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulchiano on distant hill tops and Bagno Vignoni below. (Essentially, all of Val d’Orcia.) This rustic, historical dwelling caught us a little off guard at first, but we really enjoyed our four night stay. The structure is old but offers all the modern conveniences and a fireplace, too. The weather was chilly for early October, but the heating system worked great and the bed comforters were perfect. A short walk on a lovely trail leads to neighboring Castiglione d’Orcia.
The host could improve arrival instructions by mentioning that GPS brings you to a parking lot near the bottom of the road to the house, and that the property is a 150 meter walk up the hill. It was initially confusing to have GPS tell us we had arrived when we were still on the highway and not next to any houses.

Da migliorare l'accesso(la porta si apre con difficoltà) e da ridurre il numero di divani che ingombrano la stanza di ingresso. Consiglierei anche di aggiustare il terrazzino che se reso agevole può permettere di fare colazione li

La zona era molto tranquilla e non c’erano rumori di auto e molto accogliente
la casa è ( a parer nostro) inaccessibile per via del tetto molto pericolante, quando siamo entrati purtroppo c’era anche un’odore abbastanza sgradevole poi luci, atmosfera e innovazione pari a 0, spero che facciano qualcosa per rendere la casetta più accogliente
