Modern Central Apartment Apt 204

The location, price and facilities were excellent. We did not want to leave the place. It was 10 minutes away from Stavanger's central station.

The front door was too rough to open. It would be nice to have a small text explaining how to sort garbage. Other than that everything was perfect

The property was very clean and well heated. It was well located. We were very comfortable here as we were not used to the cold of Norway! Kitchen was well stocked and there were also spare blankets if needed.

The light in the living room was on sensor mode so kept turning off unless we were moving a lot. It made relaxing or doing slow paced activities very difficult with the light constantly turning off. We asked the host in a message bu they did not send anyone to look at it.

It was a special trip. In fact, the house was more than excellent. Everything was secure and clean. Communication with the host was positive and I received all the information I needed. I will return to the same house on my next trip. I highly recommend it.

The perfect example of how to destroy the charm and authenticity of old family houses for profit! The whole house has been turned into flats with the coldest and charmless renovation possible. Probably our worst rental experience: first, the check in was not possible before 4pm. that is unuasally late. I wrote to the owners to ask for the possibility to check in earlier because our flight landed midday, and I did'nt even get an answer. Then, the instructions to get the keys form the keybox were not clear and we lost time and money on finding the keybox. When we arrived at the appartment it was really cold, as all the heaters were off, and it took a long time to get the apartment to a reasonable temperature. This is really unacceptable, when you know you have guests arriving you heat up the appartment! especially when the late check in gives you all the time in the world to do so! Finally, the absolute worst about the appartment, was the lighting in the living room/dining room/kitchen which was motion sensitive, meaning the light would turn off after 15 seconds of no movement in the room! this was so uncomfortable, to make the light stay on you had to constantly move an arm up in the air. Even eating was not enough movement to keep the light on.

Very dissatisfied. I was turned away at 24:00 because the front door was accidentally locked. The hotel didn't settle it, then asked me to go straight to find another hotel. And the staff did not apologize, nor did they make any compensation! Terrible experience in Stavanger.
