"Good value, safe, convenient"

Safe, close to beach, dog friendly.

No fireplace - essential in winter. There were two elec fan heaters in lounge, bit underpowered and one faulty, easy fix. Very old mattress, but was very quickly replaced with new one by owner when we raised it - which was much appreciated. None of the usual basics were provided when we arrived, but were dropped off on our request, which was appreciated.

Self catering. The location was great. Short walk to the beach. We were 6 adults and a toddler and the house comfortably met our needs. Would definitely recommend it - if repair work is done.

There were about 10 serious things I wrote down that needed to be attended to asap - ie:- broken banister rail, exposed nails on patio gate, no latch on one of upstairs windows, broken bathroom cupboard downstairs, broken bathroom fittings, no kitchen bin - to name a few. We didn't let them upset our stay but they need urgent repair. I left the list with the gate attendant when I returned the keys to him on leaving..
