The location is honestly a 10/10 — I don’t think you can really do better for a short stay in Porto. It’s perfect for exploring the city.

The apartment itself (Duplex 2) was nicely decorated and clean, but the layout felt a bit impractical. The stairs leading up to the bed were extremely narrow and steep, almost more like a ladder, which made going up and down quite uncomfortable and slightly unsafe. The upstairs shower also felt a bit squeezed into the space — it might have made more sense to keep the full bathroom downstairs. As I arrived after check-in hours, I received instructions to go to the office the next morning to complete the check-in and present my ID, which is completely understandable. However, the experience felt a bit underwhelming. The letter in the apartment mentioned that I would receive some recommendations and a brief introduction to things to do in the city, which set a certain expectation that wasn’t met.
