Lake & mountain view home in CBD

It has a lovely view of the remarkables, the lake and Queentown. We had off street parking and the main floor was perfect to unwind after a busy day to visit and relax.

The washer and dryer are great to have and we appreciated the drying rack because the dryer didn't seem to dry our clothes well.

Views were amazing, Laundry facilities, modern bathroom, extra pillows and blankets were all appreciated. Full size fridge.

Owner's instructions - Don't wear shoes inside, don't light the wood heater. Don't make noise after X o'clock. Don't use balcony after X o'clock. The kitchen lacked some items that we needed, and others were very low quality and hard to use e.g. missing tongs, blunt old fashioned veg peeler. Very small and pokey downstairs, steep narrow stairs to upstairs level. Unprompted, the owner messaged me twice to say that she would be at property 15 minutes after check out time. Why bother telling me that unless it was a threat to ensure we were checking out on time? As it was, we had a 3 hour drive ahead of us and were long gone by the required time. Would not stay there again due to owner's attitude.

Stunning view! Comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped.

The size of the main bedroom and the size of the bathroom. Excellent communication from the host/s.

Only 4 bath/shower towels provided was a surprise - with 4 adults staying 3 nights, there wasn't a spare one for hair washing. It seemed to be a bit strange to have 8 hand towels and just 4 bath towels. Also, the pillows were very soft & 2 of us ended up with very sore necks. A couple of firmer ones provided would have been good. Some advance warning of the traffic noise on the main road below would have been helpful for our decision making. Also being in the flight path of the Airport would have been nice to know too!
