GBGBLovely, spacious (barn-style) cottage - well-equipped & good facilities. Fantastic venue - lovely walks from the doorstep. Easy to reach the centre of Battle by foot (across fields) in 10 mins.
I think, if not a family (for example friends or families with older children), only one bathroom in a 6-bed cottage could be a pinch-point.
GBPlace was perfect. We wanted to visit Battle Abbey, which is a few minutes away and Bodiam Castle. Both, and more, are nearby.
