Beautiful apartment 15 min to NY

Uns hat besonders gut gefallen, dass die Unterkunft sehr gut an die Buslinien nach New York angebunden ist. In nur etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht man die Linie 156 und 159, was den Weg in die Stadt sehr unkompliziert und angenehm macht.

Leider entsprach die Wohnung nicht der Beschreibung. Statt der angegebenen 15 Minuten nach New York benötigt man in Wirklichkeit etwa 40 Minuten. Die Unterkunft war zudem nicht sauber: Im Bad und in der Küche waren Kakerlaken, die Badewanne und das Glas stark verschimmelt und insgesamt machte die Wohnung einen ungepflegten Eindruck. Auch die Küche war schmutzig, ohne Spülmaschine, und wir mussten Geschirrteile erst reinigen, bevor wir sie nutzen konnten. Bei der Ankunft fehlten Handtücher, die später einfach vor die Tür gestellt wurden. Als wir über Booking den starken Schimmel im Bad reklamiert haben, wurde uns zwar zugesichert, dass jemand zur Reinigung kommt – es kam jedoch niemand. Insgesamt entspricht das Apartment nicht dem beworbenen Standard.

This is a really good place for exploring NY if you are a larger group or family. Three appropriate bedrooms, nice living room. The value you get for the price paid is definitely good. The views from the end of the street on Manhattan are great. There are nice hispanic/latino places nearby for breakfast and dinner as well as supermarkets. Please note some Spanish words might be helpful there. Access to NY Port authority Bus station (and then to Times Square by foot in a few minutes) is easy by bus (15 min) and costs $4 oneway.

Bathroom is older, but still ok. Everything essential clean. But as others already noted the ventilator has a lot of dust on it. If you want to eat in the flat please note there are only four chairs.

La ubicación del alojamiento era excelente. Cerca a la parada de los buses que dejaban en 15 minutos en Times square. Cerca también habia tiendas para comprar insumos para el desayuno. El lugar era amplio y cómodo. La cocina estaba equipada para preparar desayuno para 5 personas

Los colchones estaban un poquito antiguos. El aire acondicionado hacia mucho ruido.

Location and neighbourhood

It wasn’t really clean and the towels were random and old. Not enough linen and the kitchen was missing crucial utensils / items

Good price, nice rooms, close to the bus station.

One more restroom would have been nice (there is only one for three rooms). It was a little bit cold during the night and we couldn't set the room temperature (the thermostat was locked)
